Sunday 21st June

Today, our thoughts are with our dear friend & inspiration, Tony TS McPhee - recovering from illness
up country. Tony gave us the blues when all we had was confusion. He re-wrote the rule book for us
& was never afraid to try something new. We've been planning a record - passing vibes back & forth
up the wire for months. This is a dream we hold very dear. Get well soon Tony, we got work to do...(more...)

Saturday 20th June

Today, as we re-enacted scenes from The Jukes of Hazard, the poetry of re-constructed websites danced off our tongues for the enhanced pleasure of future generations. Later, much later, in the warm & breezy pastures of East Essex we boiled the kettle in maximum rotation & jammed our first tentative steps as a three-piece tooled-up with new toys & grooves. You wont've heard this one before.

Wednesday 17th June

Return-ed to the Lemon, the shelter of our home-groove. Friends re-united, plugged into the power.
Promised brain cells still in transit after long-haul from the deep south. Something numb sits between
the ears, holding a space where the mind used to be. Body shaking from re-entry. At least you get
transported fully clothed in this film. Listening to Tetra

Tuesday 16th June

(Also 'Devious when Drunk')  Scrubbed the sky-dirt off in Singapore, before, acquiring a whole lot more on the flight back to London. Coming down from over-dosing on re-cycled breath - it was cleaner when we were allowed the choice to smoke in-flight. Back on the Island, everything looking green & verdant. The body arrives in one piece, the brain arriving in instalments over the rest of the week. Thank you to everyone who came to the deep south & gave their support. Thanks to the new friends we made there & for the inspiration they filled us with. Now glad I am to be back amongst the clan, looking forward to hard-wiring into the grooves of Brother Smith, who, regardless of the good times south, I have deeply missed. Monday 15th June

Thank you to all who came to see & hear what two daze of jamming can do. These people are extraordinary. I know of only one other person who's this good (& still has the edge for me). What an honour & privilege to be asked to be part of this collection of outsiders. Toby Vogel rocked the video & camera projections -
I'm very glad we got that boy on tour with U/W. Here's some more views of the set-up.....(more...)
