Karl Hyde has announced details of the first single to be released from Edgeland, his forthcoming debut solo album. The Boy with the Jigsaw Puzzle Fingers will be released digitally on Monday (25th February 2013) it will include the original version alongside remixes from Kasket (R&S Records) and Matthew Herbert (Accidental Records).
The Boy with the Jigsaw Puzzle Fingers was debuted on Lauren Laverne’s 6 music radio show this morning.
The track was written and recorded with Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno/Pulp) and you can hear the single here.
As previously announced, Edgeland is due for release in Japan on April 10th and across the rest of the world on April 22nd. With cover artwork shot by longtime Underworld collaborator Perou, the album comes as a deluxe CD/DVD, standard CD, download and 12″ vinyl and can be pre-ordered here.
